Dr. Brianne Herrera is the Assessment and Planning Analyst for the Student Success Research Lab. In her role, Brianne helps different units with their strategic planning efforts, assessing program initiatives and helping to ensure that program goals align with the values, mission, and vision of each unit.

Brianne completed her doctorate in the Ohio State Department of Anthropology, Master’s in anthropology at Texas State University, and Bachelor’s in astronomy at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research experience – from theoretical astrophysics and biochemistry to the evolution of the human crania – has provided Brianne with ample opportunities to conduct research that relies on bringing together quantitative and qualitative analytical methods and approaches. Prior to joining SSRL, Brianne worked as the Coordinator of Assessment and Accreditation at Coppin State University. She was also the Head of Impact and Assessment for the Anthropology Public Outreach Program at Ohio State.
