Yuhong Zhu is a PhD graduate of the linguistics department at The Ohio State University. He was a Graduate Research Assistant for the Research and Program Assessment office for the Office of Student Academic Success. He supported RPA with the Joyce Foundation research supporting campus change and transfer students. His personal research interests focus on the human speech sounds and sound system. He has worked on the mental representation of tonal systems, the mechanism some languages use to differentiate words with higher/lower pitches of the voice.
