Igdalia Covarrubias Reyna (she/her/ella) is a PhD Candidate in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program at The Ohio State University. She also works as a Graduate Research Associate in the Student Success Research Lab at OSU, where she focuses on research related to STEM transfer pathways and transfer student success. Before joining the SSRL unit at OSU, she worked as a counselor practitioner for five years. Igdalia's experience as a counselor and Student Affairs practitioner has shaped her research interest in graduate school equity, access, and success, specifically for Latinx/a/o students at Historically White Institutions. Lastly, she earned her M.S. in Counseling from California State University, Fresno, and her B.A. in English from California State University, Stanislaus.
