Nathan is the data analyst in the Student Success Research Lab. He earned a Master of Mathematics at Emporia State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Math Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Prior to this role, Nathan taught high school mathematics for 7 years and undergraduate mathematics for 4 years. Teaching through the Covid pandemic, Nathan became interested in the impact on the student population and began to study the effects regarding discipline and behavior. This experience led him to change careers and ultimately led him to work for The Ohio State University to continue his work on bringing positive outcomes to student experiences and education.
