Special issue on the COVID-19 emergency transition to remote learning published

The Online Learning Consortium's premier journal is dedicated to the development and dissemination of new knowledge at the intersection of pedagogy, emerging technology, policy, and practice in online environments.

The 25th anniversary issue of Online Learning focused on the COVID-19 emergency transition to remote learning, in which Shanna S. Jaggars edited. The articles within the special issue described the challenges institutions faced and how they attempted to overcome those challenges to support student success.

The special issue is organized into 3 sections: (1) teaching, learning, and student support challenges in the U.S.; (2) how courses or programs managed the transition; and (3) international perspectives.
