Dr. Stephen John Quaye’s ability to foster community and adaptability in tackling issues have been great assets throughout his work while at OSU. From being a professor, program chair, and now associate dean, he has always strived to create inclusive environments to improve student success.
In April 2024, SASR Grantees, Drs. Mary Thomas and Tiyi Morris, were highlighted in the Engaged Scholars series through the Office of Outreach and Engagement for their work with the Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project (OPEEP).
Across the past 18 years at Ohio State’s Newark campus, Jamie White has supported and promoted student success, first as an assistant and now as Associate Faculty member and Director of Retention and Student Success Initiatives in Newark’s Center for Student Success. Ms. White and her team not only provide proactive and holistic support to individual students, but also work to address larger systemic barriers to student success.
